19th Annual Roast A Success
On Tuesday, March 4th, more than 700 of Portland and Multnomah County’s education, business, government and community leaders packed the floor of the Moda Center to support the work of All Hands Raised to help all kids achieve their full potential. The 19th Annual Roast included All-Star Couples: Portland Mayor and First Lady Hales, OPB’s April Baer and her husband (former Oregonian reporter), Ryan White, and Live Wire! radio’s Courtney Hameister and Scott Poole. The MC was Co-Executive Editor of Portland Monthly, Zach Dundas with musical guest, Beaumont Middle School’s jazz ensemble, Sharp Jazz.
Together we raised more than $450,000 to support the mission of All Hands Raised to help all kids achieve their full potential. Check out the video “Voices of our Youth” that shares some of the stories of our local students and is what keeps us working to improve educational outcomes in Portland and Multnomah County.
