All Hands Raised Leaders Present the Local Partnership in Central Oregon

Posted on December 13, 2012 in Press Releases

On Friday, December 7th, Dan Ryan and Nate Waas Shull traveled to Bend, at the invitation of The Oregon Community Foundation, to spend the day with community leaders from Deschutes and Crook Counties. They were invited to share the story of the All Hands Raised Partnership and the local work to improve educational outcomes for kids in Portland and Multnomah County. The High Desert Educational Services District crafted the day to respond to their communities’ interest in adapting a collective impact framework in their local community. The luncheon, where Dan Ryan presented, took place in the new Culinary Institute space featured in the image here.

All Hands Raised leaders are frequently asked to present regionally and nationally on the local partnership, providing important context, technical assistance, and on the ground stories that help communities exploring this work to move it forward. All Hands Raised is one of seven lead cradle to career communities in the national Strive Network.
