Thank you for attending our 21st Birthday Bash!

Thank you to all who attended our Shine On 21st Birthday Bash!
700 guests packed into the Moda Center to support the work of All Hands Raised to champion education, equity and excellence inside and outside of the classroom – a mission that requires all of us to raise our hand and play our part. Because of the generosity of so many, and the shared commitment to our work, we raised roughly $485,000! And it’s not too late to join with the hundreds who raised their hands to be a part of this change, click here to donate.
Guests were entertained by home-grown comedian Ian Karmel, known for his writing on both “The Late Late Show with James Corden” and “Chelsea Lately” as well as his appearances on TBS’ “Conan,” Comedy Central’s “Adam Devine’s House Party Season 2,” IFC’s “Portlandia” and the Travel Channel’s “Best Sandwich in America.” His Portland credentials include appearing in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, post-game analyzing and commentating for the Portland Trail Blazers and writing the highly-anticipated weekly column Everything as F*ck in the Portland Mercury.
Ian was joined on stage by Master of Ceremonies Courtenay Hameister and Musical Guest Soul Commanders, as well as our guest speakers: VP, COO, and Deputy General Counsel of Precision Castparts, Corp., Emi Donis; Executive Director of Latino Network and All Hands Raised Board of Directors Chair, Carmen Rubio; and Portland Community College student Suntea’Ohna Floyd.
