Current Work

Over the next 18 months, All Hands Raised will focus on what we do best: bringing people together to solve complex challenges and drive measurable impact for youth in Multnomah County. We are in the process of gathering community feedback and operationalizing the strategic priorities listed below.

  • Center Equity in All We Do

Apply an intersectional lens to our work; address the root causes of inequity; and ensure that the work is driven by those most impacted by systemic oppression.

  • Collaboration

Build and strengthen a collaborative, trusting community to define a shared vision and community-wide agenda

  • Align for Impact

Integrate the experience and priorities of our partners and community members to accelerate impact through shared power, decision-making, and action

  • Measure Progress

Establish and support shared measurement tools that empower our network to make informed decisions, track progress, hold each other accountable, and continuously improve

  • Support the Collaborative

Serve as the backbone team that aligns and coordinates the work of the group—providing and aligning the infrastructure, data, resources, and strategic support needed to sustain impact at a community-wide level

We recognize that deepening our community engagement is an ongoing journey—one that requires intentionality, transparency, and sustained effort. While our current partnerships will play a key role in shaping this strategic framework, the true work of building an equitable, community-centered outreach process will unfold over the next 18 months.

“The work of All Hands Raised is supported by people across our various sectors who share a sense of urgency about systemic change. Having the voices of students and those who know students well is such an important component of this effort.”
